Hello there, Cabbagers!
Time flies when you’re having fun, and it’s already Cabbage Day 7! Over a month ago, we embarked on this game development journey, and things are moving quickly.
The development process is going pretty well:
- Graphics – Bloody Sundew has got a lot of creative ideas for new graphics like city buildings, new characters, dancing animals, rhythmic animations and more. Beat Town is transforming into a more enchanting place, captivating our hearts with its growing beauty.
- Level Structures Complete – Last week was a whirlwind of productivity as we finalized the main structure of the first three levels. We are happy about the result for now and within next iterations, we hopefully create a captivating experience.
- Enhanced Camera Editor – Our level designing will be much quicker with the addition of the new feature – the Security Camera Editor! This powerful tool allows seamless scaling of the vision cone, ensuring precise and efficient level designing. Moreover, the pattern preview feature offers real-time visualization, enabling developers to fine-tune camera movements.
- Brainstorming – We gathered together to review the latest changes and brainstorm ideas for the near future. After thoughtful discussions, we set a clear and promising direction for the project.
Looking ahead
Our sights are set high for the coming week! We’re determined to have all the main building graphics completed, ensuring every corner of the town feels alive and bustling. Additionally, we’re eagerly anticipating the opportunity to delve into the next level design, crafting even more exciting challenges and unique environments.
As we continue to breathe life into our game, we can’t wait to share more updates with you. There’s so much more in store, and we’re thrilled to have you on this journey with us.
